This
is a handmade mask resembling one of
the four guard dogs featured in the Jim Henson movie,
Labyrinth,which starred
David Bowie. The names of the dogs were Alf, Ralf, Jim, and
Tim; I'm not sure which one the red one is.
It is made from neoprene, wood, wool
felt, vinyl trim, sculpty and fur. The mask itself is durable
and lightweight; neoprene is a strong yet somewhat flexible
material. The sculpty eyes pop out,
making it suitable for display or wear. It comes with a wire
hanger, which hooks in the back enabling it to be hung on
a wall.
The
face part of the mask measures aprox.
10 by 7 inches. If you include the hat and the stick
it measures apox. 25 by 17 inches.
It weighs 546 grams, or just over a pound.
This
is a great mask to wear to a costume party or event like the
Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade.
It would look great in a kid's room, or any room really.
