KK as Frankenstein's Monster

KK Gordon wrote a sub-par version of Frankenstein called "The Archangel Journals." In the play production he played the Frankenstein monster. You can probably recognize the scar on his face from any Halloween store. He wanted something to remember his role so I made a cast of his face. I then made a rubber mold from that and poured hot clay into it. Once it cooled I fixed up the casting, by adding scars, texture and sculpting the eyes open.

Then I made another plaster mold from this clay KK and cast rigid neoprene inside. I backed it up with some fiber glass, so that it will keep it's shape hanging on the wall.

This is one of the posters I made for him. I'm showing it here because that is my face mask in the pic. The play called for a mask made from Frankenstein's younger brother's flesh. I poured regular Halloween latex in a life cast of my self, distressed it, added hair, ect...
